WWI German Stielhandgranate crate. This is an exact reproduction of the wartime crate used to transport 25 stick hand grenades. Our reproduction was based off an original loaned to us by a collector. The pine material is planed to the correct 18mm thickness. The correct carrying handles and hinges are fabricated in house, and all hardware is marked with the correct "DRGM" inspection stamp. All exterior stenciling is copied from the original, right down to the imperfections in lettering. You will not find a more accurate and sturdy reproduction of this crate. These work great to store your kit, and as great seat in the trenches. Outside measurements: 27.5" long, 11.25" wide, and 16" tall.
